Character Options
This page presents new character options, including the new class Dominant, new subclasses, and several new backgrounds.
New Races
Two new races are available: the canine fenrir, hearts filled with wanderlust, and the gold-graced dragonborn, with a bloodline from the brood of Eyrirfex.
New Class—Dominant
The Dominant class is an arcane warrior imbued with the strength of an Eikon. Read more on its dedicated page.
New Class—Revenant
The Revenant class is an armored warrior that communes with the spirits of by-gone legends, calling upon their power. Read more on its dedicated page.
(The Revenant class is actually homebrew based on Guild Wars 2, but it is fine to use in this setting.)
New feats and features
The following new fighting style is available to all classes able to choose the Two-Weapon Fighting style, being the Fighter (including via the Fighting Initiate feat), Ranger, and College of Swords Bard.
- Rapidstrike.
- Whenever you engage in two-weapon fighting, you can make the second attack as part of your Attack action, instead of making it as a separate bonus action.
The following new Eldritch Invocation is available for the Warlock class.
- Eldritch Claw.
- Prerequisite: eldritch blast cantrip.
When you cast eldritch blast, you can choose to reduce its range to 5 feet and replace the ranged spell attack with melee spell attacks.
Archetypes
Some existing classes have been updated with Archetypes, allowing alternate forms of play.
Archetypes are a modification to the base of how a class normally functions. You may not choose more than one archetype, even for different classes, unless otherwise specified. Use the original class’s rules, except for those the archetype explicitly add, modify, or remove.
Cleric—Archivist
This studious variation of the cleric uses theological analysis of divine dogma to cast their spells, which they write down in prayerbooks. Read more here.
Warlock—Tainted Scholar
The tainted scholar emphasises occult knowledge over personal expression, using intelligence rather than charisma as their driving force. Read more here.
New Subclasses
New subclasses are available for the following classes.

These bards use the power of their voices to summon the power of storms. Read more here.
