You hold the shining radiance of Bahamut, Eikon of Light, within your heart.

Dreadwyrm Trance

When you select this Eikon, you gain the following benefits:

Searing Light.

Your Eikon’s associated damage type is Radiant.

The First Tongue.

You can speak, read, and write Draconic.

Quintessence.

When you cast Astral Impulse, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on each hit.

While in an Eikonic Trance, you gain the following additional benefits:

Graceful Landing.

Bahamut’s wings slow your descent. As a reaction, you may negate all falling damage you take from a fall.

Satellite.

Beams of light converge into geometric shapes, forming a familiar that hovers above your shoulder. Whenever you cast Astral Impulse, it fires rays of light at your foes—add your Eikonic Trance damage bonus to the spell’s damage on each hit.

Wings of Light.

Carried on shimmering draconic wings, you can attempt to dodge away from attacks. As a reaction when an enemy makes an attack roll against you, you can impose disadvantage on the roll. After the attack is resolved, you may then move 5 feet. This movement does not provoke opportunity attacks. You can use this feature once during each of your Eikonic Trances.

The Favour of Light

You learn the cantrips Astral Impulse and Light. They are dominant spells for you, and Charisma is your spellcasting ability for them.

You gain Eikon spells at the dominant levels listed.

The Breath of Light

Beginning at 10th level, while you are in an Eikonic Trance, you gain the following additional effects, as your body takes on more of Bahamut’s features.

Blood of the Dragon.

Your type changes to Dragon, as your flesh yields to become a dragon’s scales.

Eikonic Size.

If you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If there isn’t enough room for you to become Large, your size doesn’t change.

Further Reach.

Your reach increases by 5 feet.

Wings of Radiance.

Majestic draconic wings sprout from your back. You gain a flying speed equal to your current speed, and can hover.

Impulse Mastery.

When casting Astral Impulse, you may choose to make melee spell attacks instead of ranged spell attacks.

The Will of Light

At 15th level, the Dragon King’s spirit grants you further durability. When you gain this feature, choose either acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. You gain resistance to damage of that type.

Megaflare

From 18th level, as an action while in an Eikonic Trance, you can unleash Bahamut’s destructive power. Countless orbs of vibrant blue energy streak out from you and rain down in a 60-foot-radius, 120-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within 300 foot that you can see. Each creature or object within the area must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 12d6 radiant damage. On a success, they take half that damage instead.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Dreadwyrm Ascension

Once you attain 20th level, your Eikonic Trance transforms you into a true manifestation of the Dragon King. You gain the following additional benefits while in an Eikonic Trance:

Sky High.

Your flying speed granted by Wings of Radiance increases to 60 feet, if it was lower.

Celestial Foundry.

Suffused with even greater light, you conjure an additional familiar. The damage dealt by your Satellite feature is doubled.

Fang and Claw.

Your bite and and your claws become natural weapons, which count as weapons worth 1 gp for the purpose of spell components. They deal 2d8 radiant damage on a hit. You can choose to use either your Strength or Charisma score for attack and damage rolls with them. (It gains the bonus damage from your Eikonic Trance and from Imbued Strikes.)

True Size.

Your size can now increase to Huge instead of Large.

Dragon’s Scale.

Your AC can’t be less than 20, due to your thick scales.
